You can find answers to frequently asked questions regarding the use of DigiBook®.
 
 
Installing DigiBook® 2005(v.11) Light
  DigiBook® v.10 Freeware, Standard, Standard Trial or Pro users:
  If you have any of the above, please install DigiBook® 2005 Light to overwrite your currently installed program. No uninstallation of your currentl program is necessary before installing v.11 Light. All the albums/bookshelves will remain as they were in ver.10 program, while program gets upgraded. NO albums or pictures will be lost as a result of this update.
   
  DigiBook® v.11 Freeware or Pro Trial users:
 
If you have any of the above, please install DigiBook® 2005 Light to overwrite your currently installed program. No uninstallation of your currentl program is necessary before installing v.11 Light. All the albums/bookshelves that were created before will remain as they are when the program gets updated. NO albums or pictures will be lost as a result of this update.
 
DigiBook® v.11 Pro users:
If you have DigiBook® v.11 Pro, please refrain from installing DigiBook® 2005 Light over your program. Your program(DigiBook® 2005 Pro) already has all the functions that are available with DigiBook® 2005 Light.
 
 
 
Q: Are there any particular reminders when overwriting DigiBook® on a computer?
A: When overwriting DigiBook® on a computer that already has a previous version of DigiBook® installed, it is recommended that you make a back up of your Albums. With your Album files fully backed up, you will stand no risk of losing any files in case unexpected incidents occur in the upgrading process.
 
Q: How can I uninstall DigiBook® from my computer?
A: The DigiBook® folder contains a file that you use to uninstall DigiBook®. Simply click the file and the uninstaller will completely uninstall DigiBook® along with any pertinent file.
 
Q: How can I switch from the old interface to the most currentl one?
A:  
 
Q: I use a Macintosh computer. Does DigiBook® run on Mac, too?
A: No. DigiBook® is compatible only with computers running WIndows PC. Please refer to the product info page for system requirements.
 
Q: Is there any way I can disable the function for DigiBook® to launch Album Wizard automatically when I connect my digital camera to my PC?
A: Yes. To disable it, right click on a bookshelf to open a setting window. Click a preference button located on the top center of the window to select "preferences". In preferences setting, click the "other" tab and click off a check box saying 'Supervise memory-card insertion and display wizard' to disable it. This function is OFF by default.
 
Q: Can I play videos on my Album?
A: You can play video files in almost any fomat that can be played with Windows Media Player.
 
Q: How can I transfer my data from the freeware once I purchase the product?
A: Your data will automatically be transferred onto the product by simply overwriting the existing folder with the product folder.
 
Q: How can I offer an Album to a friend who does not have DigiBook®?
A: DigiBook® will automatically download necessary programs from the Internet if you output your Album in executable format.
 
Q: How do I select several images at once?
A:

[Multiple Selection of Images in Sequence]
For multiple selection of images that are in sequence, bring the cursor to the first image of the scope of images you wish to select and while holding down the "Shift" key, click the last image you wish to select.

- For multiple selection of images that are not in sequence, click the images you wish to select while keeping the finger on the Ctrl key.

 
Q: Can an album be password protected?
A: Yes. However, this function is only available with Standard and Professional version of DigiBook®.
 
Q: When importing images using DigiBook® from a device that supports TWAIN, the connected device doesn't show on the "Select Source" window.
A: A: You might need to install a different driver for TWAIN depending on the TWAIN-compatible device that you use.
 
Q: Is there a simple way to check image data capacity or number of images that I have in my Albums?
A: You can check an Album's image data capacity and number of images from the Information tab in Album Settings.
 
Q: Is there a limit to the number of Albums I can create?
A: There is no limitation of the number of albums a bookshelf can hold.
 
Q: How do I delete images?
A:

Open the Album and bring the cursor on the image you wish to delete, and either press the Delete key or right-click and click the [Delete] button and [Delete Image].

- When you use DigiBook®'s menu sheet, you can click the Trashbox icon to delete the image.

 
Q: What does [Paste to Clipboard] mean?
A: The clipboard is where you temporarily store data that you copied or cut. When you right-click on the image and select [Paste to Clipboard], the image will temporarily be stored, allowing you to paste the image data on a different page or Album.
